This product does exactly what it says - its simply finds and automatically saves every photo wherever they're hidden in your computer. No complicated software so there's no need to bother the IT guru in your house - these discs do everything automatically. Each DVD cleverly stores up to 2000 images. Now you need never worry about computer crashes or laptop theft.
Here's how the process works once the HP SimpleSave Photo DVD is inserted:
- You will see a "loading" message once you have inserted the DVD.
- Then you'll see "Welcome… starting in 15 seconds" message.
- Your are then be shown a summary of what photos have been found, the number and size of the files, and the number of DVDs required. You can then select which photos you want to include in your backup.
- Once you approve the backup selections, a new screen shows the progress of the backup, and eventually the message, "Backup complete. Your files are safe."
