New Diland software update – Periodic saving of creative orders
As a retailer you want to take every precaution against computer hiccups occurring when a customer has just finished or is most of the way through creating their masterpiece. And as you know Diland software enables a customer to create a photo book very quickly, but there are always some customers who like to spend hours extensively customising their book. With this new Diland software update, saving will start the moment a customer enters the edit page.
The new Diland software update now ensures that as soon as the customer has entered an edit page, periodic saves take place and those backup temporary orders will be available to your lab operator for 12 hours after the order is actually finalised and sent to print. That means maximum peace of mind for your lab operator and the customer.
New Diland software update – CMYK images are loaded and converted to RGB
As you’d expect Diland software accepts a kiosk customer’s images whether they are in RGB or CMYK formats or from various digital sources such as memory cards, CDs, DVDs, USB drives, mobile phones with bluetooth, iPads/iPhones and local folders – as well as social networks like Flickr, Instagram and Facebook.
There is no maximum image size that a kiosk user can use, and no maximum on the number of images a customer can load, unless you choose to place a limit. This ensures that if your hardware can accept those sources and file sizes, then you need not worry about the software’s ability to manage this issue. Better still, Diland’s versatility extends even further because it can run on a variety of Windows operating systems including XP, Vista, 7 and 8 – 32 and 64 bit.
